| The oldest tour operator
in North America. Founded in 1933 as Students' International Travel
Association (SITA) by Jack and Helen Dengler of Rancho Mirage, California,
the company was formed to provide reasonably priced tours to exotic
destinations for students. SITA became the first tour operator to
offer package tours, including Round-the-World tours with Pan Am,
and also was the first tour operator to offer escorted trips to
Africa.
SITA has a successful track record promoting travel to exotic destinations
worldwide and has gained a respected reputation for providing quality
and service in a "Value for Money" tradition. Over the
years the destinations have changed, and SITA currently promotes
deluxe tours to Africa, India, the Orient and South Pacific.
SITA maintains a network of offices throughout North America to
better serve the many thousands of travel agencies on the continent.
SITA sales offices are located in major US and Canadian cities covering
the important geographic areas including: Los Angeles on the West
Coast, New York in the Northeast, Houston in the South, Chicago
in the Midwest, Toronto in Eastern Canada, and Vancouver in Western
Canada.
